(Sorry, but this is really so long and wordy. I don't like it either)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Background:

This is a man made disaster whereby more than 27 tonnes of deadly Methyl Isocyanate (MIC) burst from a pesticide plant, Union Carbide. It affects a very large area. It results in approximately 2000 immediate death, 300 000 injured, 7000 animal injured, and 1000 animals die. Survivors life was no better. They suffered from all kinds of illness, like cancer, tuberculosis, birth defects. The water sources were also seriously polluted with mercury, nickel and other toxins. In fact a series of prior warnings MIC-related accidents had been ignores.

Conclusion:

This is indeed a man made tragedy, and could have been prevented. It has resulted long term extensive damage to the environment, and to the life of the people around. It will take a long time for that much of toxic vapour to completely disappear from the environment. Many generations of humans will be affected too. From this, we should learnt how important it is to keep safety and never overlook small problems, which could become big problems. We should be very careful and particular when dealing with such dangerous chemicals. Cause it the effect is really extensive. Innocent people are also harmed in such accidents.

" HOW MANY TIMES DO WE ANIMALS HAVE TO TELL YOU HUMANS? PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE! SEE, I AM ALSO A VICTIM OF THIS TRAGEDY, AND THAT IS WHY I HAVE SUCH SHORT LIMBS! UNLIKE HOW A NORMAL COW SHOULD BE!"
